thing number 4

Looked at Flickr and liked what other librarians did with it. Eventhough I think it is still quicker to do a search in a online catalog to see if your favorite author published something new. Now if you could click on the books on the shelves and get to the bib record that way, now that would be cool.

thing #3

did the RSS feed, problem was that I had no ideas on what the RSS feed to myself. My hometown newspaper in Germany did not have an RSS feed, now that I could use. For library patrons to be able to set up an RSS feed when a book that they may be interested is in would be cool.

Hello

Hi-
We had fun yesterday-don't be too hard on Mary. The problems with slowness, dropping and then avatars not available made the morning session less successful. I think we are all started and that's what is important.

todays events

Thanks for your help and input today. I, too found the additional need for nicknames and passwords tedious!
Yahoo! Avatars

thing #2

Watched Stephen Abrahams utube interview. I am glad that I am NOT traveling 25 days during a month. I can still have fact-to-face conversation with my husband and cat. After all day on the computer, I am ready to get away from it, I prefer meetings in cafes or telephone conversations with friends and family.

Creating a blog #1

Setting up a blog was a pain, does Google have the a hand in everything?? Yet another password and username to remember, once I give up my keys and passwords, I know retirement is near. Since I have at least another 25 years to go, I wonder how many more password I can aquire and forget over the next 25 years, hmm.
